Just Add Rolls as the name suggests, we want all our food connoisseurs of Puducherry to engage themselves in adding up some spice, aroma, tradition, and heritage to their palate.

The Roll was born during the first half of the 20th century in Kolkata and started its culinary voyage from the British Era, when Kolkata was the capital of the British Empire. A tale trails that, British patrons did not want to enjoy the Nawabi delicacy – Kebabs with their hands so, the Khansama of Nizam’s decided to roll the meat up in a paratha – a crispy, buttery unleavened flatbread and then served it in a paper wrapper.

Although no official version of this story exists, what no one can resist is, this twist of service soon became the heart beat of Kolkata’s Street Food and gradually leaped to pan India and across the Globe.

Just Add Rolls lead by two prominent upcoming lady entrepreneurs of Puducherry Mrs. K. Geetha Lakshmi and Mrs. Gayatri Saha. An initiative to add traditional Bengali Cuisine and its Heritage to your taste buds with its mouth-full of authenticity at a very pocket-friendly price.

Recently in March this year I visited Pondicherry with my family. We saw and ordered through Swiggy Mughlai Paratha and Chicken Momo from Just Add Rolls. We actually got the authentic taste of Kolkata and Momos were amazing. Complete Paisa Vasool (value for money). I strongly recommend this place to all people traveling from Odisha and Bengal.
